                                        Faith It

Mark 11:24
''For this reason I am telling you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe (trust and be confident) that it is granted to you, and you will get it {Amplified bible version). 
Sharon went into the hospital to see her mum. Mum! Sharon called. You are leaving this place today! I don't know how but you will follow me home! The nurses rushed into the ward hearing her strident voice which was really strange of Sharon.The doctor called her into his office and calmed her down. ''I know you can be depressed, just be calm. This isn't easy but it will pass one day, we are doing our best''. It will pass today, Sharon said. Just as the doctor continued to speak to her, her  mum walked into the office calmer than the ferocious way. The nurses and guards were alert. Sharon stood up to hug her and she hugged her back. This hasn't happened in years. The very first time she hugged her mum since the illness began.

It was such an emotional sight. Sharon cried deeply. Mum, you are free. Just believe that Jesus has healed you. Just believe it. Just say I am healed. Sharon, her mum called.  Please, pray for me. Sharon's heart skipped. She didn't know what to say but the name of Jesus kept ringing in her brain and she called the name forth. She screamed Jesus in the loudest tone of her voice and her mum fell down. Her mum and three other patients fell asleep for three hours and that day!  Sharon walked home with her mum.

You see, something happened when Sharon shared her testimony. She shared something really deep with us.

 ''I knew I needed a miracle and was busy with doing the work of God and I felt well, he knows my mum is sick so he should heal her. I didn't ask him to do that for over a year. But after that preacher's message I got that hit in my spirit that I have been hindering myself from getting God in action and I prayed fervently that night with the whole of my being and God revealed himself. Getting to the clinic I was scared. The devil brought in thoughts to make me lose the confidence I had in Christ. My heart started pounding and I just knew the devil wanted to steal my joy. Oh, No! No way!
I held it back and in that assurance ran into the ward so the devil can hear that I meant it with my whole heart. And something happened. Because, I totally believed what I said in the name of Jesus, Something happened! Something came up! Jesus showed up. The bible says, Ask, seek and Knock. You have to ask. But, when you ask don't paint the picture of your miracle let God do his work. Your duty is to ask and believe that you have received it.'' 

In summary :Faith is the substance {material, physical representation, matter} of things hoped for the evidence{result, report} of things not seen. The reality is what you will see but have to get into the matter. Faith works. God works. Faith it

 That Air... That Struggle... That Process Have you noticed how fire burning your heart and body gets after a super conference? That week, you will be on top of your game spiritually, You will want to make use of everything around you. The words of the speakers keep you alert every seconds and then after two weeks nothing comes to your brain anymore. A little test comes to prove us and gush! nothing shows up. We can't even remember a dime, we are back to being our old selves. Can I get a witness? who has been in this struggle or still experiencing this struggle?  This is it: It's beyond the excitement. Yeah, It's good to be excited but it's way beyond it. It requires constant meditation just like we do with our jobs, we want to be the best we constantly remind ourselves of where we are headed and how we want to get there. That's the same way we move with the spiritual. Because you had a brilliant conference doesn't mean your life will change automatically

Dear Brother B, As a christian lady, it's sometimes difficult to see those good, calm, spiritual and cultured guys in the church. It looks like, they have all been married away and the rest of the ones left for us are chaffs. It's depressing when I have to talk and talk to Brother B about simple etiquettes. He doesn't know jack. He cannot even relate with what I want all he does is speak about some irrelevant things and when he asks me out and I decline, they will say, I flaunt a lot. Can two walk together except they agree? You know the answer already. We just want excellent men. We want men that are qualified to stand before kings and not ordinary men. Men with panache with the grace of God oozing out of them. It's not too much to ask for? Is it? Some 'spiritual' brothers will come and all they know how to do is speak with saliva dropping off at every conversation. Oh Days! Can we have some sanity?
